Goals of [un]Paved Ministries:

1) Provide excellence in print, virtual and multimedia products for use in youth ministry and beyond.

2) Create a middle and high school gathering which will run annually in 6-10 cities, beginning in the fall of 2009.

3) Evaluate the potential for additional programs, conferences and workshops for a variety of ages as well as gender-specific events, beginning in 2011.

4) Share with event attendees the beauty of a God who loves and desires intimacy with all people.

What [un]Paved brings to the table:

a. Passion – [un]Paved Ministries has assembled a team whose heart is set on sharing the Word of God. The men and women in this organization have often made a career choice to share Jesus with the youth in their community and beyond. Others have decided to take time away from their daily jobs to spread the Gospel in their local communities and would now like to share their gifts and talents with a larger audience. No matter what vocation these individuals find themselves, they each have a passion for reaching the lost and fulfilling the Great Commission.

b. Production Experience – [un]Paved has chosen to work with Inspirmedia in the production of their events. Inspirmedia has a long history of working with the church and other organizations. Inspirmedia works weekly with Christ Lutheran Church, Lincoln, NE as a key partner in writing, programming and producing their multisensory “Room211” worship experience which grew from 0 to 750 regular attendees in only three years. Inspirmedia has worked with the Nebraska District of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS) on their tri-annual Sr. High Youth Gathering and has provided a superior production every time. Inspirmedia has also worked with the National LCMS Youth Gathering and the LCMS Youth Ministry Office to provide video, web and other multimedia resources for small to large scale audiences.

c. Music – [un]Paved has chosen the 211Bandfor the “Geared Up!” tour. This up-and-coming group has been playing for four years as the worship team at Room211, Lincoln, NE. The band has recorded two albums and performs throughout the region. This group of musicians has a passion for sharing the message of Jesus. At the 2008 Nebraska District Youth Gathering, the 211Bandproved to be a highlight of the weekend. However, [un]Paved is not limiting itself to the use of this musical group only. If it is deemed financially feasible and marketable, [un]Paved will continue to research the use of other “headlining” bands for use in our gatherings.

d. Love for Jesus – In all this team does, it is our love for Jesus and our commitment to His ministry which compels us to undertake this ministry adventure. The Holy Spirit has laid on our hearts the desire that even more may come to be imitators of Jesus and be servants to their neighbors.

e. Inspiring Speakers – The speakers selected for the “Geared Up!” tour are among the best in the Church. These presenters have committed their hearts to working with youth in local congregations. In addition, they are in demand throughout the country at district gatherings as well as at the national level, many having spoken at the National Lutheran Youth Workers Conference, the National LCMS Youth Gathering and other similar events.
